Trail Running Shoes Speedgoat 5

The ultimate ultra-trail reference. The Meta-Rocker geometry (curved sole that facilitates foot roll) helps cover long distances. The maximalist cushioning protects joints on technical terrain.

Technical specifications:

• Drop: 4 mm. Drop is the difference in height between the heel and the forefoot; a low drop brings the foot closer to the ground and promotes a midfoot stride.
• Stack height: 33 mm at the heel, 29 mm at the forefoot. Stack height is the total thickness of the sole under the foot, and thus the level of cushioning.
• Weight: approximately 291 g (men, size 42.5)
• CMEVA midsole: compressed EVA foam (cushioning and durable midsole)
• Vibram Megagrip outsole: third-party rubber known for grip on rock and dry or wet terrain
• 5 mm multi-directional lugs
• No rigid protective plate underfoot

Ideal for: ultra-trail. Also ideal for long-distance outings on technical and vertical terrain. A reference for runners who spend several hours in the mountains.
